Columbia Grad Student Film: Call for PA's

"Voice Lessons, the story of a young girl's faith and talent Reia is a young Indian student at a prestigious summer music academy in the states and longs to be accepted into the privileged world around her and to win a scholarship for college."

Shooting will take place on the peninsula (Bailey's Harbor, Fish Creek, Egg Harbor & Ellison Bay) beginning 8/31-9/7. Film format is super 16mm. This is not for pay. Meals will be provided.

Local talent needed for a UW collaborative production - students, professors and professionals producing two short films this summer called Birthday Girl and Billfold.

Birthday Girl - a big city teenager is sent to live with her strange uncle in rural Wisconsin. Billfold - a father learns his teenage son is not the honor roll student he's always thought.

Feature film "Feed the Fish" Crew Call for February 2009 Door County Shoot

"Feed the Fish" is a romantic comedy starring Tony Shalhoub and Seymour Cassel, and is written and directed by Wisconsin native Michael Matzdorff. "Feed the Fish" begins prep in late January. We shoot through the month of February into early March.

Producer Nicholas Langholff seeks the following PAID crew to work on the SAG ultra low independent feature film, "Feed the Fish," shooting this February in and around Door County, WI.

The Discovery Channel Canada is looking for a Fixer/ PA in the Hudson / Minneapolis Wisconsin Area

Forensic Factor is a series of six one hour programs presenting the worlds best crime scene investigators. Each episode explores one baffling case and how it was solved by top forensic investigators and detectives analyzing evidence. Forensic Factor airs on the Discovery Channel Canada, Discovery US HD and A & E.

A small Documentary crew from Toronto, travelling to the Hudson, Wisconsin area to shoot interviews & B-roll scenic's for an episode of Forensic Factor requires a local Fixer/ PA short term for 7 days. The earliest start date is Sept. 22nd & the latest would be Oct. 3rd 2008. Precise dates to be confirmed very soon.

We are looking for an experienced PA/ Fixer. The ideal candidate would be - a multi-tasker, resourceful, detail oriented, able to think fast & find solutions under pressure. We would need you to accompany our crew members daily to locations & help with the camera gear. This job requires a valid driver's license and a vehicle would be a bonus (mileage would be reimbursed).

It is important that you are familiar with the Hudson Wisconsin area.

Feature film shooting in and around the Milwaukee area beginning in November, 2008

Feature film shooting in and around the Milwaukee area beginning in November, 2008 is currently putting together a crew. We're looking to fill all positions. The film is being directed by Jason Williams ("Victim", "99 Bottles") and is a suspense/thriller written by R. Michael Gull and Olivia Barash.

Here's the rundown:
Production Companies: L'oiseau Blanc Films / Haptic Vision (collaborated on the award winning short film, "Victim") The working title of the project is "New Day", and stars Olivia Barash ("Repo Man", "Fame", "Tuff Turf", "Little House on The Prairie"...) and R. Michael Gull ("The Beast", "Victim"), as well as featuring a few appearances by some recognizable faces in small roles. We will be shooting in the Milwaukee and Sheboygan areas, as well as a couple of locations in Northern Wisconsin. We're tentatively scheduled to begin production in November. The shoot should last 5-6 weeks. This film has a respectable budget and will have distribution. We're looking for a solid crew to work this production and are currently accepting submissions from anyone serious about working on a film set. This will be a full time shoot for 5 weeks. Students or recent grads are welcome. In addition to the paid positions, some intern positions are also available.

Feature film "Nonames" crew call for shoot in August

Jotti Films and WI Producer Nicholas Langholff are looking for PAID crew to work on their low-budget Independent feature film, "Nonames" shooting this summer in and around the WI Rapids area.

Obviously if you are from this area, our film is a great opportunity to come back home and work for a month or two.

This drama, written and directed by Wisconsin native Kathy Lindboe, will begin PREP in mid July. Filming to start in August and run through mid-September.

We're shooting under the SAG Modified Low Budget agreement.

CREW CALL for SHORT FILM shooting in Milwaukee this July!

Los Angeles based Production Company is getting ready to shoot a 20 minute short film "Cherry" in the Milwaukee / Waukesha area this July. We are looking to fill several key positions, including DP, Gaffer, Sound, and Location Scout.

DP - We want to shoot in HD on the HVX200, with film lenses. The DP must have experience shooting both HD and film, plus supply their own camera. Several of our scenes take place outdoors at night, so DP must have experience lighting night exteriors. When applying, please include your day rate / equipment rate. If you have a grip truck, please give us your rate for that as well. Also, include a resume and link to some of your work online.

GAFFER - A one ton grip truck or similar. Please give us your day rate for rental.

SOUND - Need a good audio person for the project. Please give us your day rate.

LOCATION SCOUT - We need to secure several locations for the shoot, including a baseball field, junk yard, and a restaurant. Please give us your day rate, as well as rental rates for properties that fall under these categories. Properties should be in the Milwaukee / Waukesha area.

As for ourselves - we are an award winning production team, with credits on many national television shows. We have done work for names such as: Universal Studios, CBS, Paramount Pictures, The Discovery Channel, G4, AMC and more.
